Founders: Tony and Janae Camp

Tony and Janae have been married for 17 years and have 2 amazing children, Sydney – 11 and Silas – 7.  Tony and Janae are both graduates of Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.  They have been in ministry for over 20 years.   South Shore Community Church in Sarasota, Florida is their home church. Tony and Janae are certified Family Wellness Instructors.

Tony is originally from Owensboro, Kentucky.  He has served as a Youth Pastor for the past 20 years. During this time he developed a passion for ministering to the whole family, but youth programming is demanding and leaves little time to minister to the family.  In November 2009, Tony founded Family Builders where he can pursue full time his mission to build stronger families.

Janae is originally from Paragould, Arkansas.  She has served as Pastor of Adults working with single adults and young married adults.  She currently leads the Women’s Ministry in their church. Her passion to encourage and equip women towards spiritual maturity is fueled by knowing their growth will affect the work place, neighborhoods, churches and families.  

Together, Tony and Janae have a passion to strengthen families to connect and thrive as a team.

Purpose:  Family Builders exists to build strong families that connect and thrive as a team by:

• equipping the entire family through fun and interactive environments.
• supporting churches and organizations with their ministry to families.
• providing family retreats, mission trips, relationship skills, consulting, resources  and continuous encouragement to our Family Builders’ community.
